Castille Mortgage
Jeremy Castille is a licensed, independent Lafayette, Louisiana mortgage broker who has a guarantee: Giving his clients the best dollar-for-dollar mortgage they will find anywhere on the market.
Jeremy is a Louisiana native who was born in New Iberia and has spent the majority of his professional career in Acadiana. Jeremy’s passion for helping others and work ethic led him into the mortgage industry.
He takes a tireless approach into customizing home financing solutions, and ensuring each client achieves their goals for home ownership or refinancing.
Jeremy started working 45 hours a week at the age of 12 by sweeping up in warehouses. As a teen he dug water lines in rural areas before attending the University of Southern Mississippi, where he waited tables while going to school full-time.
After a versatile background as a commodities broker in transportation in Lafayette and in dental sales in Nashville before becoming a mortgage broker, Jeremy brings a daily dedication to his home loan clients in Louisiana.
Jeremy believes in open communication and is available to his clients at all times. He does not keep traditional banking hours, and is available by phone, email, text or in person to answer questions and learn your needs. You will have a personal mortgage advisor guiding you through the loan process.

Conventional Mortgages
Conventional mortgages are not guaranteed or insured by the federal government. Most conventional mortgages have either a fixed or adjustable interest rate.
Adjustable Rate
Adjustable rate mortgages (ARM) fluctuate in relation to the rate of a standard financial index. Your interest rate and monthly principal and interest payments remain the same for an initial period and then adjust annually.
Fixed Rate
Fixed interest rate loans have a stable monthly payment over the life of the loan. Your principal and interest will always stay the same amount, making it easier to budget from month to month and you are protected from rising interest rates.
FHA – Approvals down to 580 credit score.
The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is a government-backed initiative created to increase home ownership. FHA loans offer low down-payment requirements and flexible credit requirements. If you sell your home, the buyer can take over the loan (subject to loan approval). -Min 580 FICO -3.5% down payment – highest debt to income allowance -100% financing options
VA – Approval start at 620 Credit Score
VA home loans are available through the Department of Veterans Affairs to eligible veterans, reservists, active-duty personnel or eligible family members. VA loans are available in a variety of fixed-rate and adjustable-rate options. There is no down payment or monthly mortgage insurance premiums – plus, credit requirements are flexible. -100% Financing of appraised value -NO MI Insurance -Available to surviving spouse of eligible veteran
Rural Development – Approval at 600 credit score
There is no down payment for this type of government loan for properties located in suburban, rural and semi-rural locations. With a Rural Development loan credit requirements are flexible. Brenon Wilson is a LO here at Castille mortgage. Brenon is from Coteau, Louisiana. Although he graduated college with a degree in Drafting and Design Technologies, working in several industries has led him to Castille Mortgage Company as an MLO. Brenon wants to help others in his community through his new career while pursuing his lifelong passion as a musician. His hobbies include performing as a drummer in his band-LVVRS, creating art, exploring outdoors, traveling, trying new food, and spending time with his wife-Brandi.

Matthew Thomas is our new Loan Officer in Alabama.
Matthew Thomas graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in business administration in 2010. Matthew started his career in dental sales in 2010. He was a territory sales representative from 2010 – 2020 and reach over 20 million in sales. Matthew is an Alabama native and when he is not working, he enjoys watching SEC sports and spending time with his wife Kalleigh and his kids. Matthew joined the mortgage industry in 2021, and he prides himself on customer service and client relationships.
